Lion Families,

Sunrise has been my home since 2016 and I am incredibly honored to be returning as Sunrise's Dean of Students for the 25-26 school year! I am confident that this will be our best year yet!

I have been a passionate educator since my graduation from Arizona State University in 2015. I have served as a special education teacher, 4th grade teacher, and an Instructional Coach. In 2020, I decided to pursue my Master's in Educational Leadership and was fortunate enough to complete my internship at Sunrise prior to becoming the Dean of Students. Beyond my formal education, I have been a member of several district and campus committees, working to continuously improve the education that is provided in DVUSD schools, and I feel proud to be a member of this district and its community.

Along with teachers and staff, I will work to build strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. To our new students, I cannot wait to meet you all! To our returning students, welcome back to the Pride! I am so excited for this year and cannot wait to build amazing memories with our students, staff, families, and community!
