Tori Collins
Hello!
My name is Miss Collins, and I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! I am honored to be part of the Sunrise Elementary community and look forward to creating a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn.
Before becoming a classroom teacher, I gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher, working with students across many grade levels and learning environments. These experiences helped me develop a deeper understanding of students’ needs and strengthened my passion for creating a positive and engaging classroom experience for every child.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Learning, Leadership, and Literacy from the University of Arizona and completed my teaching certification through the Scottsdale Community College STEP program. I am passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and personally, and I believe that every child has unique strengths and abilities to celebrate.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time gardening, cooking, and baking. I also love being outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new places. I am excited for the adventures this school year will bring and cannot wait to partner with families as we help students learn, grow, and succeed in third grade!
