Hello my name is Mrs.Fink.

I am currently on my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 1st-3rd Grade EL and 1st-3rd Grade General Education. For the past 3 years, I have been a Reading and Math interventionist for our school district. During that time I services kids for Reading in grades Kindergarten-6th. For Math Intervention, I worked with 1st-3rd Grade. 

I have my Master's Degree in Reading with an Emphasis in Elementary Education that I received at Grand Canyon University. I also received my Bachelor's degree there as well. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in English. Before getting those two degrees I went to Paradise Valley Community Colleges and earned my AA with Honors. I have lived in Arizona my whole life and I went to school here in the Valley as a kid. :)

In my family, I am the oldest sibling. I have a brother and a sister. I am married and have one dog. Some things I enjoy are teaching kids to swim, tutoring, singing/ playing guitar, going to the movies, volunteering, and going to water parks. I also love to go to theme parks such as Disneyland and Universal Studios too!

Things to know

• A homework packet will be sent home on Mondays. Please have your child turn it in on Friday's to me.
• My goal is to also send home a monthly Reading Log for my students to do. This helps promote reading practice at home and it will help your student grow in their skills. For every student who turns in their completed Reading log, I plan to do a monthly raffle and will pick some winners to win prizes. :D 
• My class will be earning parties for working hard in class and for displaying positive behavior. I will buy some supplies but I will ask for donations at times too for the class. I will reach out and let parents know when I need help for parties.
• For field trips my goal is for us to do hopefully two this year. :) I will need chaperones for the field trips. If you want to chaperone for the field trip, make sure you do the volunteer training next week. I will do my best to rotate who goes on the field trips.

2:35pm- 2:55pm-  Reading group (Tier 2)

3:00pm- School is out
