Head Start

Sunrise Elementary School is proud to support young learners through our Head Start program, which provides high-quality early childhood education and family support services for eligible preschool-aged children. Our program creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where students develop essential early literacy, math, communication, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills through purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences. Head Start takes a whole-child approach by supporting each child’s academic growth, confidence, independence, and overall well-being while building strong partnerships with families. Through meaningful early learning opportunities, Sunrise Head Start helps prepare students for a successful transition into kindergarten and creates a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
