Ms. Simonsen

I am honored to be on the Instructional Coach team at Sunrise again this year! As a member of the team, I will be working closely with the amazing teachers on our campus in the area of ELA instruction.

I began my career as a 1st grade teacher here at Sunrise and it has been a privilege to call Sunrise my home. Through our district-wide implementation of Professional Learning Communities, I have had the opportunity to act as our school's Model PLC Leader supporting the growth and development of teacher teams on campus. I completed a Master's degree from GCU in 2017 focused on gifted education. The knowledge gained from this program has only increased my commitment to staff and student success.

I look forward to an exciting year and I can't wait to see all the amazing growth in both students and staff!
