Mrs. Jennewine

This is my 12th year in education, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of teaching special education, 8th grade English Language Arts, and gifted education. I hold degrees and endorsements in K-12 Special Education and Elementary Education, and I'm highly qualified in Middle School ELA with a full Gifted Endorsement.

My greatest strengths as a classroom teacher have always been building relationships and creating an inclusive learning environment. When I felt ready to take on a new role, the opportunity at Sunrise felt like a natural next step. I see my current position as one that allows me to support both students and staff so that everyone can have a year full of learning and growth.

I grew up in Colorado, met my husband there, and a career opportunity took us to California for nearly 10 years before we finally landed in Arizona. We have been in the desert for 17 years. We have two amazing adult children and one beautiful granddaughter.
